Writing Academy Camp

Our class attended the Writing Academy Camp on Tuesday and had a great time. We learned what good writers do and we made a writing wheelie. We also learned some writing cheers.

The kids did a good job! I have the best writers at SCE!

Classroom News

1. I have the best bunch of 4th graders!


2. Your child has vocabulary and spelling words that they should study every night for their test on Friday.


3. Students need to practice multiplication facts every night.


4. Students need to read every night. They have to earn 10 A.R. points every six weeks. I will be checking for five A.R. points during every progress report time.


5. Math homework has been coming home every night.


6. Parents need to sign homework folder every night and students need to bring back daily.


7. Open House and Fun Run: September 11th...look forward to seeing you!

I am so excited about the school year and working with you to make your child's fourth grade year the best it can possibly be!

By the way, get your child to tell you about Ruby Lavender and Melba Jane or ask them about arrays in Math or about the Scientific method or about playing the cardinal direction Simon Sez game.
